How can cryptocurrency be controlled?

Lately I’ve read  seen some headlines about botnets mining cryptocurrency.

How can we improve the net to be more secure against those “Low hats”-men? I don’t think that the blockchain is secure and reliable enough. And it’s way to risky to implement it to the economy. We need structure and controll over a currency. I think we need the banks, the governments or whatever that usually has the controll over our currency. If ordinary people can affect the value of a currency, then we’re done. Also I think that a currency can’t be global.

In the North it’s still winter

To be born and raised in the northern Europe you might think one must like the cold weather, but that’s mostly not true.  With the winter comes the flu. This year it’s seems like more than usaual gets ill.  I’m longing for the spring to come. We need the sun. We need the vitamins D that, I think, the sun beams gives us. We need the light – always.

Testing Django CMS and Divio

Django is a free and open-source web framework, written in Python, which follows the model-view-template (MVT) architectural pattern. It is maintained by the Django Software Foundation (DSF), an independent organization established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. – Wikepedia

I’ve been using asp.net for few years and lately I’ve been in to WordPress alot. Now I’m looking for something else. Read a little bit about Python and that interested  me. And when searching futher on I found a web framework called Django and a CMS built upon it, Django CMS.

I don’t know how “hot” Django and Python for web is, there might be other frameworks that are more “trendy” but I don’t care so much about that. Sometimes it’s better to not care so much about the latest tech trends.

The test gave me a litte insight in Docker as well.

But…. I’m dropping this for a while.

Found a cheap Linux VPS at hostinger which seems to be very nice. Using webmin/virtualmin, nice tools, makes it a lot easier to setup.

Moved this site from a webhotel to the new VPS.

Tooltips

I used to be pretty careless with things on my computer,  sensitive information, files and projects. Careless with how I structured and saved them. But in 2017 a change took place, I got a new start in my work. And I have found some good tools.
